has grown year on year, Exmoor Accommodation is 7 years
old well established and bookmarked by regular visitors
to Exmoor National Park, West Somerset, North Devon and
Minehead.
Traffic Stats: We record between 500 to
750 individual visitors most days of the week. A new record
of 1,147 visits was recorded in August 2007. Tuesday is
the busiest day of the week, Xmas Day, Good Friday and all
Bank Holiday Sundays are the quietest days of the year.

and without favouritism to a constant trickle of visitor
enquiries about Exmoor National Park area from potential

Easter 2004 we stayed near Dulverton. I obtained the information
from your web site. We hoped to come back to Exmoor this
Easter, but the customers web site is inactive and I cannot
raise them by phone. Can you help me on availability of

A user’s opinion
I found you online by using Google as a search engine and typed in Accommodation in Exmoor, loads of sites came up, but on the right hand side of the screen were some suggested sites, the first being www.exmoor-accommodation.co.uk, I found this to be a very user friendly site, with a choice of B&B, Guest Houses, Self Catering or Inns. I knew we wanted to stay in an Inn, and that is where I saw The Rest and Be Thankful, I was also able to click in to last min deals and mini breaks, to get the deal rate.
Website History
Exmoor Accommodation was born out of adversity, when although
Exmoor was untouched by foot and mouth the countryside was
effectivly closed, the need to fill own 5 star holiday cottages
and friends accommodation became apparent. Most of my new
business was already coming via the net and the 3 sites
iwas advertising on were to my mind, unattractive and difficult
to navigate. I worked closly with Dave Silvera and Jay Nevada
of PCwebshop who made my tourism ideas work. A partnership
with Pcwebshop was set up for the Devon Acc site, Jay sold
his 1/3 to us, Dave sold his 1/3 of Britain Accommodation
Websites to me in 2006 which consisted of the live Devon
site and several names.
Exmoor Accommodation went live September 2001. Achieved
one of the last five places South West Tourism's Website
of the Year 2003. Won South West Tourism Website
of the Year 2004.
January 2003 revamped in a data-base format, a year later
the site was revamped again to become the content managed
site it is Next4Weeks came online July 2002. Devon Accommodation
2003 revamped in 2006, Somerset Accommodation online 2006,
Cornwall Accommodation and the portal Britain Accommodation
2007
